22_technik_kultur_museologie_weltweit_global_erde_planet_geschichteDr. Hans-Peter Bärtschi enjoyed his sabbatical on a container ship around the world in 92 days at the end of 1999. The result of his reflections was published in 2002 on 336 pages with the title "Der endliche Fortschritt – unterwegs zur Zerstörung der Industriekultur" (“Finite Progress – Towards the Destruction of Industrial Heritage”). The trilogy “The East was Red – Voyages to the Heart” is meant to be published in 2009. In publications and speeches, Dr. Hans-Peter Bärtschi treated further global aspects of industrial heritage, such as technology and culture, museology, youth, women and education.
